The event, at The Pierre in New York City, will benefit The Children's Services at The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. Recipients of the 2003 Physician of the Year Award for excellence in medicine will be Paul L. Chodosh M.D., Young Bin Choo, M.D., and Felix DePinies, M.D. International philanthropist Florence D'Urso of New York City is a member of the Benefit Committee and Susan Liebowitz, also of New York City, is Journal Chairman. The Physician Co-chairs are Steven Schaefer, M.D.
of Bronxville and Joseph Walsh, M.D. of New York City. WABC TV's Scott Clark will be the master of ceremonies. The reception begins at 6:30 PM, gourmet dinner and dancing to the music of the Hank Lane Orchestra is from 7:30 PM. There will also be a Celebrity Silent Auction.
