Present, MD, the Foundation's Chairman of the Board and Clinical Professor of Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. Currently, she is a member of the editorial boards of "Annals of Surgery" and "Inflammatory Bowel Diseases." She also is a Governor of the American College of Surgeons and a President Emeritus of the Canadian Association of General Surgeons.The Foundation for Clinical Research in IBD strives to enhance the array of effective mediations for people who have Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis (inflammatory bowel diseases, or IBD)by providing clinical research grants.
